Don’t shut down emotions, blossom
A blossoming rose
Under stressful condition, shutting down emotionally can be a way of coping with being overwhelmed. However, if you stay emotionally shut down, this can have a negative impact on your personal life and relationships.
Symptoms of emotional shutdown:
difficulty to express emotion or feelings
difficulty being loving or affectionate
difficulty creating or maintaining personal relationships
The more you shut down emotions, the less you control them. You may become numbed, muted, depressed or seek unhealthy outlets for these feelings, such as alcohol or other forms of escapism. Inner strength is required for us to speak honest and open about who we are and what we feel and experience.
Symtoms or emotional blossoming
Demonstrate affection and love toward others
