The Chakra’s, a rainbow to the divine

A rainbow in the heavens

Man is a rainbow, and just like the rainbow has seven colors, man has seven centers of being. To get to the pot with gold in life we have to go through all seven centers, unifying our chakra’s.

Chakras are the energy centers in our etheral body and each one contains bundles of nerves which transmit and receive energy. This energy is transmitted into physical, emotional and spiritual energy. The lower three chakra’s represent our animal nature, and the middle heart chakra represents the bridge to the upper three chakra’s, our connection with the divine.

As the chakra’s are part of an esoterical process, simply knowing about the chakra’s is not enough, as stated by Osho:

“One has to feel the chakra’s, not just know about them, this way the energy can transmit. Only when you feel the chakra’s it is helpful, otherwise, it is not helpful.”

Here follows the rainbow of the seven centers of being:

1.Root chakra

The root is located at the base of our spine. It represents the connection with our physical body, the environment, and the Earth. It is our primal, animal nature- our flight or fight dashboard.

If the root chakra is imbalanced, we are not grounded, and are therefore possibly worrisome, anxious and high strung. Root chakra blockage also goes hand in hand with sexual dysfunction.

To balance this chakra, we need to face our fears, by remembering that fear is nothing but the absence of love.

2. Sacral chakra

The Sacral is located underneath the naval. It represents creative feelings, sensuality, sexuality, pleasure and intimacy. Everything that we create, whether it be a drawing, a poem, a website, a story, a child, all originates from the creative processes of the sacral chakra.

Imbalances would be a lack of lack emotions, a lacking of sexual satisfaction, repressed creativity, intimacy issues and emotional isolation. It can manifest itself as an alcohol and drug addiction, impotence, frigidity, and depression.

To balance this chakra, we have to find ways to express our positive feelings, passions and emotions.

3. Solar plexus chakra

The solar plexus is located next to the naval. It stands for our ability to move forward in life with confidence and power and governs our self-esteem, pleasure, will-power and personal responsibility. When you are proactive rather than reactive or inactive, your sacral chakra is open and healthy.

People with a blocked solar plexus chakra have a low self esteem and have difficulty making decisions. If there is excessive energy here you can have anger or control issues.

To heal the solar plexus, repressed negative emotions (from the past) - fear, anger, hatred, jealousy - have to expressed. Anything that can be helpful for this should be used, going into therapy or simply shout, scream and sing out the emotions.

4. Heart chakra

The heart is located in the chest. The heart chakra is the centre of love, warmth, compassion and joy. The man who can feel, who can love, who can cry, who can laugh, who can share, who can have compassion, can open the heart chakra.

Blockages in the heart chakra can manifest themselves as a lack of compassion, depression, difficulty in relationships, lack of self- discipline.

To open the chakra, we have to become more trusting and move away from doubt. To get here, feeling is more helpful than thinking, intuition is more helpful than reasoning, poetry more helpful than philosophy. Once the heart is opened, we are available to the highest centers.

5. The throat chakra

The throat is located in the throat and neck. It represents our ability to speak, listen and communicate clearly and effectively.

Imbalances would be shyness, being withdrawn, inability to listen, imitativeness, gossiping, parroting, arrogance or increased anxiety.

To open the throat chakra, we should not be an imitator, we should get creative and find our own style of life. By getting courageous enough to express ourselves, to share, do our own thing, speaking our mind, give love to others.

6. The third eye chakra

The third eye is located in the center of the forehead, between the eyebrows. It represents intuition, foresight, and is driven by openness and imagination.

Imbalances would be lack of direction and lack of clarity in your life. When the third eye chakra is out of balance we experience fatigue, eye problems, day dreaming, sleep problems, lack of assertiveness, inability to listen to others, and may feel disoriented.

Letting go of fears, trauma and the ego is foundational to open the third eye chakra, as well as disciplined meditation.

7. The crown chakra

The crown is located at the top of our head. It’s the bridge to the cosmos, spiritual connection, and through it we can evolve our spirit and reach our highest potential and true nature.

A blocked crown chakra is a result of a disconnection with the spirit. It results in loneliness and meaningless, a loss of identity, cynicism, depression.

By dissolving the ego and disciplined meditation, the crown chakra can be opened and lead us to fulfill our highest potential and purpose.

All the colors of the rainbow have to be immersed, no center has to be denied, they have to become a unity. A real man of religion lives the whole rainbow and lives life totally. To get support in this proces, find a coach that feels his chakra’s.
